Profile of Sue Howells - The Artist
Sue was Born in Birmingham in 1948, she is a self trained artist now working full time as a painter. Sue exhibits regularly in London at the Royal Water Colour Society.
Sue has also exhibited at the Westminster Gallery, Mall Galleries and at the Royal Academy. She has won numerous awards and has had sell out shows all over the world. Although sue howells is based in the Midlands, she spends much of her time in Pembrokeshire recording the moody and winter atmosphere of its coastal towns. Here you can see her series of limited edition prints, we also have a number of her original works for viewing and sale.
Sue was recently named as the top selling British female artist, ranking higher than Rolf Harris in overall sales. Sue's pictures may seem familiar - they've appeared on several major TV programs including Eastenders, My Family, The Vicar of Dibley and Little Britain.
